About The Band
Cécile Birot-Delrue (hurdy gurdy, violin, vocals) & Lucas Thébaut (diatonic accordions) take you to see the stars via Poitou-Limousin CW France.
Turbobal are steeped in the traditional music of their region and play driving Balfolk music for dance. Cecile is a stellar hurdy-gurdy and fiddle player, as well as a wonderful singer for dancing. Lucas is greatly in demand as a dance teacher and musician playing in several different bands including Petit Piment and Duo Thébaut with his father Robert, who was in Ciac Boum. In the last year they have played at Gennetines, Marcinnes and Boombal.
This will be their first visit to the UK – let’s make it a good one!
