Intimate small-group house workshops
I cannot stress enough the importance of group learning. The monthly Melodeon Meet started as an initiative to support my local students to make the move from practising alone in their bedrooms to learning together in a friendly small-group setting.
Each month has a different theme, tune or topic to focus learning efforts and give structure to the two hour session. My mission for these events is that they are safe, supportive space for students to share, discuss and most importantly try out new things and make mistakes without ridicule.
