AIMS:
In this block of classes, you will learn:
- The tune and different left hand chord patterns for the traditional English reel Beatrice Hill’s Three-Hand Reel
- How to find the key signature and rhythmical structure of a tune by ear
- How to simplify a melody in order to learn the bare bones ‘trunk tune’
- How to fill in the gaps on the trunk tune to elaborate and embellish a full melody
- How to add a simple LH accompaniment to a tune, and vary the chords & rhythm
