Cancellation Policy 

This policy is intended to reinforce my position as a professional musician. My intention always is to be fair and honest and I expect the same in return.

  • Please let me know if you are going to be late for any reason. I will always try to contact you via email/Zoom/mobile if I am expecting a lesson and you don’t appear on time 
  • Consequently, if I have to cancel for any reason I will do my best to inform you with as much notice as possible
  • Bookings are confirmed when we agree on a time and date and an invitation email is sent from my Google calendar 
  • NB Booking your first lesson acts as your agreement to these terms and conditions 


  • Cancellations within 48 hours/2 days of a booking will incur a charge of half the cost of the lesson 
  • Cancellations 24 hours prior to/on the day of a booking will incur a charge of the full price of the lesson
  • Recurrent cancellations will be charged at full price due to inconvenience 

Technical difficulties 

  • Connection issues can usually be sorted easily by logging out of Zoom and back in again or by switching the router off and on again 
  • Your connection speed will be improved by moving closer to the router for a stronger signal or connecting to the router via a cable to be directly wired into the network 
  • If this doesn’t work and you are unable to correct your internet connection, then please make me aware of the situation as soon as possible via text or telephone 
  • Usually these things are easily and quickly sorted out only delaying the lesson by a matter of minutes. On the rare occasion that technical problems cannot be resolved quickly, then the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost

Extenuating circumstances 

  • If you have a valid reason for cancelling or missing your lesson, then please make me aware of the situation as soon as possible. In certain cases, we can reschedule at no extra cost 
  • Forgetfulness is not an acceptable reason and you will be charged 
  • I reserve the right to decide whether or not you will be issued a free pass or charged
